Pet Resume FAQ

Is there a place where you can show me what I’ll be getting?

Of course! Just visit the Sample Resume to get a better idea of the way the resume looks and reads.

I need to change something in my resume.

We will be adding the ability to edit resumes, but for now just contact us and we’ll make the change for you free of charge. Please be sure to email the direct link along with your requested change.

What if I have more than one dog? Can I put them on the same resume?

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to put multiple dogs on the same resume due to the coding logic we use to “automagically” write the resume. Additionally, just like people, we recommend each dog has their own resume to highlight their unique qualities.

Will everyone be able to see my personal information (phone number, address, email, etc.)?

Only people with a direct link to your resume will be able to see your information.

What if I want to add additional information to the resume?

Our resume builder does not give you the ability to add additional information outside of the scope of the questionnaire. However, if you have additional information you would like to include we do offer fully custom resumes and other options.

How much is the resume?

$9 – with $2 donated to animal rescue and welfare.

Do you do fully custom resumes besides the pet resume builder?

Yes. Please contact us for more information.

How will I know my information was received?

You will receive email confirmation from us after you submit the form and it is received. That email will also contain instructions on viewing your resume.

How do I print my pet resume?

In the bottom left corner of the resume is a printer icon – just click and you will be prompted by your browser to print the resume.

When I print my resume, how do I remove the Save A Bull information from the top and bottom of the page?

This is different in each browser as they each have a slightly different printing method. We’ve found the easiest browser to use for both printing to a standard printer and printing to PDF to be Google Chrome.

Using the Chrome browser as an example, when you click “Print” you are taken to a pre-printing screen with a few options.

At the bottom where it says “headers and footers” you will uncheck the box. Viola – the Save A Bull info is gone!

How do I save my pet resume as a PDF file?

If you are using Google Chrome (Mac, Windows, Linux), you can simply click print and choose “Print to PDF”

Windows Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003/Vista/7 (x86/x64)

If you aren’t using Google Chrome, you will need to install a 3rd party program that allows you to print to PDF. Download Cute PDF – Once installed you will be given the option to Print to PDF in every browser.

Mac

This functionality is built into the Mac OS. Simply click the print icon at the bottom of your pet resume, and when prompted, click the PDF button at the bottom of the print screen. Make sure to click “Save As” in the PDF dropdown.

Can you make my resume password protected?

Yes. Contact us at info@saveabull.com

Do you have a cat resume builder?

Not yet, but hopefully soon!
