Pit Bull Hero – Pitbull Saves Family in Fire

Diamond, a 15 month old Pit Bull was given this year’s National Hero Dog award by the SPCA in Los Angeles.

Diamond showed this often misunderstood breed’s true colors during an apartment fire at the Steen residence last October. Diamond the Pit Bull not only stayed in the house with the Steen family’s oldest daughter when she was unable to escape, she actually laid on top of Sierra. By placing her body over top of Sierra she shielded her from fire, and remained in place even when it meant that she sustained burns on her own body. Sierra and Diamond were rescued by fire fighters, and have made a full recovery. [Read more…]

Getting a Dog, Must Rehome Baby

Rehoming AWESOME Baby

Female baby, 1 year old, and sweet as can be. Just found out we’re getting a dog, and have to rehome the baby because I am unable to devote the time to her that she deserves. She is adorable, loving, sweet and a major part of our family, but the time has come for us to part ways. We are looking for a family that is perfect, and we have no problem judging your worthiness based on arbitrary markers of success including: the type of car you drive, neighborhood where you live, money in your bank account, and what designer labels comprise your wardrobe.
