Lost Pitbull Saved by Firefighter
Jul 9, 2012 by Mandie
This time it was a Pitbull that needed the rescuing!
When Daisy, a 2 year old Pit Bull, went missing in Oregon she was found in a precarious position… stuck at the bottom of a quarry about 50 feet down.
Bob Chamberlain, a firefighter and Daisy’s rescuer, tethered himself to a ladder and was slowly lowered down on to the quarry ledge. Knowing he may encounter some difficulty getting Daisy to come to him, he met Daisy with one of her owner’s T-shirts – which was enough to gain her trust and allowed him to strap her into the harness to be hoisted up to safety.
Daisy has since been reuinted with her worried owner, and only suffered a bump on the nose as a result of her ordeal.
